You select a data node in the same way as you select model objects, i.e., by clicking its icon. The data node icons are located on the left-hand side in the 窶廣nalyzer view窶.
If the icon contains a 窶彭iamond窶, this indicates that the data node contains both simulation data (raw data) and statistical attributes. This corresponds to a model node where the 窶彜im.窶 attribute where turned 窶徙n窶 during the simulation. Note, however, that unless you turned on both the 窶廚rit.窶 and the 窶彜ens.窶 attributes, the data node may miss some criticality and/or sensitivity statistics. When a data node does not contain a particular statistic, you will see a 窶-窶 character in the table column displaying this statistic.
If the icon contains a 窶彭ash窶, this indicates that the data node contains statistical attributes only. This corresponds to a model node where the 窶彜im.窶 attribute where turned 窶徙ff窶 during the simulation. The reason why this node was included in the simulation set, is that either the 窶廚rit.窶 or the 窶彜ens.窶 attributes, or both were turned were turned 窶徙n窶. Note, however, that unless you turned on both the 窶廚rit.窶 and the 窶彜ens.窶 attributes, the data node may miss some criticality or sensitivity statistics.
The status of the data node indicated by their icons are relevant when producing plots. Simple plots, i.e., S-curves, histograms, and inverse S-curves can only be produced for data nodes containing raw data. Similarly, XY-plots, i.e., scatter plots, regression lines and curve fits, can only be produced for pairs of data nodes when both of them contain raw data. Line charts, bar charts, columns charts, and pie charts can be produced provided that all data nodes included in the plot contain the plotted statistics.
